The Motherlode: Attacks, Blessings, and Revelations, continues the story of Karah Woodard. This is the final book of what turned out to be a five-book series. The books are theme-based accounts of Karah’s struggles. The first book, Vengeance is Mine the key to peace and freedom from injustices, tells a story of her need for peace from some horrific injustices. The 2nd book, Kids will be Kids but oh my God; addresses issues she had with raising her children and young adults. Book three is a poetry & image book, Unbridled, it also tells the story of Karah Woodard. Boots to Stilettoes, stepping out in a new direction, the 4th book is a lighthearted account of Karah’s attempt to turn the page from her life of struggle to one filled with adventure.

Finally, this book, The Motherlode: Attacks, Blessings, and Revelations. Nothing could have prepared Karah for the shocking events that she would have to learn to endure. She always felt like she was in the middle of a storm but suddenly, life spirals out of control and all she can do is hold on. The world was raging, storms, floods, wildfires, pandemics, lock downs, school shooting, were going on around the world. Closer to home, health and deaths were constant issues. Close friends and family were dying shocking deaths. Then, Satan knocked at her door and would not be denied. Now, her immediate family was in the news involved in shootings, robberies, and jail. Through it all however, God was showing her and shielding her and revealing things to her which were amazing.

Boots to Stilettos continues the story of Karah Woodard. Karah is determined to overcome all obstacles and live a productive, fulfilling life despite the odds. Her first book, Vengeance is Mine, details her struggle to overcome injustices and betrayal. Her childhood, love affairs, and an assault at the drill sergeant’s academy consumed her thoughts. She realizes that this could become what she identifies as a web of destruction. This place limits your ability to move forward, thereby preventing you from maximizing your potential. She finds her peace through her unwavering relationship with her heavenly Father. However, in book two, kids will be kids, but oh my god, her children, now young adults, became a major challenge. She struggled to understand their behavior and figure out the limits of her role in their lives. Again she finds peace and avoids the web. After a trip to New York City, her childhood dreams are ignited. She always wanted to become a well-respected author. She wanted a glamorous social life and to meet the man of her dreams. Unfortunately, years of struggle had left her exhausted, and making her dreams a reality seemed unachievable. This, too, could become that web that prevents her from reaching her greatest potential. She also knew that with God, all things were possible. And essentially, the question becomes, did she have the intestinal fortitude?

Karah's kids were adolescents when their behavior first became an issue, and even though they are now young adults, they are still rambunctious and wild. She is determined to do everything she can to help her children become productive citizens. In the process, she will face many dangers. She is constantly breaking up fights and is actually dragged during one episode. She is always running to their rescue-sometimes literally running. But she is strong and demands her respect. She even has to help the police handcuff her own daughter. All her efforts and none are effective. But Karah cannot lose this battle; these are her children. Regardless of their age, your children are always your children. The way they live their lives will always affect you. That's called love. Karah is not going to be satisfied as long as they are breaking the law and living reckless lives.

Poetry started raining down on me like manna from heaven. It all came so fast that all I could do was keep writing. Within a year, I had written thirty-nine poems and a song. I knew I had to do something special with it. I also had some pictures that were pretty special to me so I decided to build a short book of poetry and pictures that would simply entertain the observer and allow CC Miller to introduce her first poetic work. Carol Y. Collinsmiller writes under two names. CY Collinsmiller focuses on non-fiction. She has written Vengeance Is Mine, The Key to Peace from Injustices and Kids Will Be Kids, But Oh My God. Both tell the story of Karah Woodard and her struggles. Karah has faced many obstacles in her life from childhood to present. Her story is one of triumph and her strength and determination will encourage and motivate many. CC Miller is the free spirit of Carol Y. Collinsmiller. She will explore fiction, poetry, music, and more. She is not afraid to venture out on the wild side and accepts no limits in her writing ventures.
